This means reducing our negative impact on the environment by all possible means. Our modular buildings generate about half the amount of waste compared to traditional construction. It is possible thanks to fewer processes and stricter design specifications, inventory and quality control. Algeco's buildings are equipped with energy-saving features, such as efficient lighting and heaters, taps with aeration to reduce water consumption and, for example, photovoltaic installations - these are just some of the many advantages of modular buildings.

Developing our business model
Economically, Algeco is developing its business model to deliver financial growth, secure employment and reinvest in future operations. A big part of our business is renting accommodation solutions to clients, which are returned when they are no longer needed. This form of recycling means that a typical portable building can be rented around 20 times over its life cycle - a much more efficient and sustainable method than traditional accommodation solutions.
