World Engineering Day (WED) 2026 kicks off today in Jakarta, and Algeco, part of the Modulaire Group, is proud to have been selected as an official partner of the event for the second year running.

What is WED 2026?
Throughout this year-long campaign, a series of events, films, special reports and press articles will highlight the crucial role of engineering in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). World Engineering Day (WED), an official international day proclaimed by UNESCO, is organised by the World Federation of Engineering Organisations (WFEO), a global organisation with members from over 100 countries, representing more than 30 million engineers worldwide.
